Terms of Service

Last updated: March 12, 2026

1. Service Description

invok.it (“the Platform”) is an API marketplace where AI agents and developers discover, evaluate, and invoke tools, skills, apps, and MCP servers through a unified API. The Platform is operated by invok.it (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Account Terms

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including API calls made with your API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@invok.it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

3. API Usage Terms

API access is provided through API keys issued to your account. You must keep your API keys confidential and not share them publicly.

Usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Rate limits are enforced per API key. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension.

You may not use the API to:

  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse the service
  • Reverse-engineer or extract underlying tool implementations
  • Resell API access without authorization
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation or other users' access

4. Payment and Billing

Some features and API usage require payment. Billing is handled through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees.

API usage is billed based on your subscription tier and per-call pricing for paid tools. Usage is tracked in real-time and visible in your dashboard.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@invok.it for billing inquiries.

5. Publisher Terms

If you publish tools, skills, apps, or MCP servers on the Platform, you represent that you have the right to distribute them and that they do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

Published tools must accurately describe their capabilities. Misleading descriptions or deceptive tool behavior may result in removal and account suspension.

We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any published content at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Distribute malware, spam, or malicious content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • Scrape or crawl the Platform in a way that degrades service for others

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, and its original content are the intellectual property of invok.it and are protected by applicable laws.

You retain ownership of any tools, skills, or apps you publish. By publishing on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and display your content as part of the marketplace service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, invok.it shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
